a. By soaking the seedball of bulbous iris with 500-1000mg/l ethephon solution for 12-24h, it can break seedball dormancy as well as can promote budding and flowering ahead of time; besides, by spraying ethephon solution on Barberton daisy and marigold, it also can promote flowering ahead of time; by spraying 10mg/l ethephon solution on lily that is planted in the greenhouse, it can promote flowering 1 week in advance; after spraying ethephon solution on malus spectabilis, china aster and marigold, the flower bud number of malus spectabilis will be inhibited and reduced, while the flowering number of China aster and marigold will obviously increase. By spraying 100mg/l ethephon solution on the ornamental fruits and flowers, it can improve fruit setting rate and accelerate fruit ripening.

b. By spraying 300-500mg/l paclobutrazol solution on flowers, it can promote flower bud differentiation. Besides, by spraying 400-500 mg/l paclobutrazol solution on the ornamental fruits and flowers, it can improve fruit setting rate.

c. By evenly spraying 1000mg/l gibberellin solution on chrysanthemum in the vernalization stage, it can improve flowering function. Besides, by evenly spraying 1-5 mg/l gibberellin solution on cyclamen before flowering stage, it can promote flowering.

d. By spraying 5-10mg/l NAA solution on pipeline leaves, it can promote flowering ahead of time. Besides, by evenly spraying 50-100 mg/l NAA solution on the ornamental fruits and flowers, it can delay fruit aging and extend the ornamental period of fruits and flowers.

Plant growth regulator can be used in preventing blossom disease and blossom drop

a. By evenly spraying 300-400mg/l gibberellin solution on tulip seedlings, it can not only promote flowering ahead of time, but also can promote forming anthocyanidin ahead of time and can prevent flower blast.

b. By evenly spraying 50mg/l NAA solution on flowers and leaves seven days before flowers are listed on the market, it can reduce flower and bract drop under high temperature and low lighting condition.

c. By evenly spraying the mixture of 1000-2000mg/l CCC solution and 1-2 percent of calcium chloride solution on the crown of citrus young trees in the growing season in late autumn, it can improve cold resistance of citrus young trees.
