Increase nutrient and fertilizer

Regarding local medicine spot, withered leaf margin, plant yellowing and other phytotoxicities that caused by contact herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, organic or chemical fertilizer can be sprayed so as to improve regeneration and compensation ability of plants, promote rapid recovery growth and reduce occurrence degree of phytotoxicity. For example, regarding chlortoluron phytoxocity of gramineae grass seedling, it can be prevented by spraying night soil, cake fertilizer and other organic fertilizers or foliage spraying urea, monopotassium phosphate and other fertilizers, thus it can promote plant growth and alleviate phytotoxicity symptoms. Regarding flower phytotoxicity, it should be irrigated with enough water so as to meet large amount of water absorption requirement of root system, thus it can increase cell moisture, reduce drug content in the plant body, improve phytotoxicity resistance and have certain relaxation effect.

Irrigating, watering and soaking

Regarding phytotoxicity that caused by excessive using or improper using of insecticide, fungicide and herbicide with soil treatment method, it can be prevented by ploughing, watering and soaking as well as repeatedly flushing flower nursery soil so as to dilute drug concentration in the soil, reduce drug residual quantity in soil as well as alleviate drug phytotoxicity on plant root. Regarding the phytotoxicity caused by excessive foliar spray, it can be washed by large amount of water for 3-4 times before the drug has been completely permeated or absorbed by plant so as to wash away drug on plant surface as well as clear away or reduce pesticide residue on plant leaves.

Regarding the phytotoxicity that caused by some plant growth regulators and sysmatic herbicides including 2,4-D butyl ester, MCPA, alachlor, ethephon and morphactin, it can be reduced by spraying gibberellin. For example, regarding the phytotoxicity caused by misusing MCPA on lagenaria siceraria seedling, it can be sprayed with diluted gibberellin liquid. Besides, gibberellin can also be used after spraying excessive paclobutrazol as well as foliar fertilizer can be used in foliage spray. Regarding the phytotoxicity that caused by using ethephon on clover, it can be alleviated by spraying diluted brassinolide liquid.

Use antipoison or adsorbent

Regarding the pytotoxicity that caused by some pesticides, it can be neutralized and alleviated by using drugs that have opposite characters or can be remedied by using antipoison or adsorbent, such as spraying lime water, plant ash, active carbon, paclobutrazol and so on. By coating seeds with NA and R-25788 antipoison, it can protect the mixed sowing lawn from being poisoned by thiocarbamate herbicide; by using ferrous sulfate, it can reduce phytotoxicity caused by using gramoxone on ryegrass; by using calcium polysulfides, it can eliminate the activity of residual simazine in the soil, besides, by spraying 0.5 percent of quicklime water, it can alleviate phytotoxicity caused by using excessive copper sulfate.

Select or breed resistant variety

Regarding some protected cultivation landscape plant that has been sprayed with some chemical pesticides, we can select and plant some plant varieties that have strong resistance or are insensitive to these kinds of pesticides. Under the effect of these plants, it can reduce phytotoxicity or can alleviate the damage degree of plant.

Remove damaged plant tissues

The damaged flower, fruit, branch and leaf of greenhouse flower and plant should be removed in time so as to prevent drugs from transmitting and permeating in plant body.
